🍰 How you can still eat this and continue to lose weight 🍫
Ever heard anyone say ‘weight loss is all about nutrition’ ? Well to be fair I’d say they’re pretty much right. If you put 💩 into your body then how can you lose weight... you do need to be healthy to get somewhere!
But it doesn’t mean you can’t have anything nice ever again! I’ll use myself as an example....
Saturday night I had a 2,500 calorie Nando’s meal 🍗 (that’s my daily allowance in ONE MEAL 😳)
Tuesday I had a cheeky bakewell slice and a chocolate brownie... talking about 1000 calories right there!
However, I have still lost weight since Saturday!
How? Because apart from those two massive blips, I’ve been spot on with food and exercised every day!
Imagine exercise is a boost button you can press to burn those extra calories- it’s a huge part of weight loss!
The point of the matter is, you can still have the bad stuff as long as it doesn’t turn into a 3 day binge!
So it’s just over 6 weeks since New Year and this can be the time where those New Year goals start to fade.
If you are struggling with your goals then remind yourself why you set them in the first place. I’m sure there was a reason and rather then use the excuses below, find that motivation no matter how tired or how cold it is outside!

The late riser.... this is for you guys who like to snooze in the morning... OVERNIGHT OATS. Yep, literally make them the night before and bang they are ready for you in the morning without needing to do a thing 💪
The organised one... you’re up, you’re dressed and you’ve got time to spare! Why not grab a HIGH PROTEIN BREAKFAST! Eggs are a great option and why not add smoked salmon in too! This breakfast is likely to make you feel fuller for longer with its high protein content.
The easy one... WEETABIX. High in fibre. No sugars and low calorie this is an easy option and to make it better, why not enjoy with almond milk?
The ‘it’s too early to eat anything’ one.... grab your fruit, blend it and enjoy a natural FRUIT SMOOTHIE on the way to work! Lots of vitamins in there and you’ll feel much more alert for it!
The one who needs energy... PORRIDGE. With plenty of carbohydrates in this one this will fuel you for the morning.... just lay off the sugar 😜
Which breakfast option are you going to be tomorrow?
I’ll tell you now, my glutes and quads are killing me from running club last night! It made walking down the stairs very difficult this morning! Sound familiar? Here are 3 methods to try and overcome muscle soreness....
1️⃣ Stretch. Don’t just complain- stretch the effected area with a mixture of dynamic and static stretches throughout the day!
2️⃣ If it’s legs that are your problem then go for a walk and get them moving. Worse thing you can do is sit down all day. You’ll stiffen up and make it worse. You need to get those muscles warm and a little walk will do this.
3️⃣ Fuel yourself. You’ve just had a tough workout! Your glycogen stores are depleted and muscle tears have occurred in your muscles so a good mixture of carbs and protein are needed to fix this. Pasta and chicken or eggs and a slice of whole meal toast are good options to achieve this!
You can only moan about muscle soreness when you’ve done these 3 points! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off for a walk 🤣
